In Sacred Heart Parish, First Reconciliation and First Communion are normally received in the second grade.  As their child's first teachers, parents are an integral part of the preparation process. Parents who wish their child/ren to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist in the current school year must register their child/ren in the Children's Sacrament Program here at Sacred Heart Parish. 

 
Notices of registration dates will be sent out to Sacred Heart Parish School and Sacred Heart Children's Religious Education (CRE) families. 
 
The requirements before receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist will be explained at the registration meeting. Children who have been delaye in receiving these sacraments are encouraged to speak with the Coordinator of Children's Religious Education, Emily DeCesare at (619) 435-3167, ext 306.
