Prayer Petition
Sometimes Catholics light a votive candle in front of a statue or shrine as a reminder that their prayers continue even after they have left the church.
In our church, you will find two (2) candle stands, one located near the back where the statue of St. Anthony is and another electronic candle stand in the Mary Chapel near 7th St.
The candles near the statue of St. Anthony burn for five days and the offering is $3, they may be picked up in the Ministry Center on weekdays and from the Sacristan at Mass on weekends.
The candles in the Mary Chapel burn for three days and the offering is $1. It only accepts $1 bills.
